This car show was scheduled for November 23 at Mesa Market Place, and was re-scheduled because of rain. Here’s how the car show works: each entered vehicle gets its own ‘Collection Pot’. (Remember 100% of the proceeds of all the money put in the collection pots goes to the AHS!)

Cheating is advised. Most vehicle owners begin collecting donations for the ‘Collection Pot’ weeks ahead. It is cricket to stuff the ‘Collection Pot’ before the show even starts.

It’s all good relaxed fun. The show is emceed by DJ Kevin James, who digs into his 50s, 60s, and 70s vault of music, and keeps everyone’s toes tapping. Surprises are to be expected throughout the day, too. Who knows who will show up, or who might win a door prize?

The cost to register: only $5. ($10 if you register after August 31, 2014)

So come, bring your vehicle, and if you don’t want to bring a vehicle, just come down and have some fun, and ooooh and aaaah at the magnificent vehicles on display!

Note: why do we keep referring to entries as ‘vehicles’? Because trucks, cars, construction machinery, bicycles, kid’s Tonka Trucks, motorcycles, and more have entered in the past. Remember this is a fun event and you’ll have no idea of what you’ll see, until you’ve seen it!!!

So if you have a mind to, make this a great family event and day!
